Timothy J. Williams, 60, of Plainville, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 10, 1961 in Washington, Indiana to Richard and Shirley (Smuda) Williams. Tim married the love of his life, Mary E. (Duffield) Williams on June 16, 1984.
Tim was a member of the International Union of Operators Engineers, Local #841 and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Lodge #414 for over 10 years. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years. Tim loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed time spent with them.
Family left to cherish the memory of Tim include: one son, Bill Williams; one daughter, Rachel (Clint) Shafer; three grandchildren, Cadan, Ciara and Caylee Shafer; one brother, Paul (Kimberly) Williams; three sisters, Sandy Harbstreit, Brenda (Rick) Thompson and Teresa Smith.
Tim was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Williams; his parents; two brothers, Butch Williams and Michael Williams.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Jerry Harbstreit officiating. Tim will be laid to rest in Plainville Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 3:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
