Norma Jean Moore

Norma Jean Moore, 95, of Montgomery, Indiana passed away at 3:50 pm on August 16, 2022, at Prairie Village Nursing and Rehab Center. Norma was born on April 16, 1927, and she was the daughter of Charles Lester and Merle Martin (Ridgeway) Phillips. Norma married Russell T. Moore on March 11, 1951, and he preceded her in death on July 4, 2009.

Jean was a member of the Washington Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing Bingo and making crafts with all of her friends at the nursing home.
Jean is survived by her children, Claudia (Kim) Murray, Dwight (Bonnie) Moore and Charles (Nerissa) Moore, along with grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) Edwards, Terry (Melissa) Murray, Alicia (Chris) Riester, Jimmy Carrico, Brayton Moore, Tyrell Moore, Melissa (Richard) Yoder, Billy (Vicki) Roberts, Josh (Priscilla) Moore and Tamara (Nathan) Rieman. Jean is also survived by her great grandchildren, Kelsey (Josh) Siegel, Montana Edwards, Drew (Estralia) Murray, Brittany Murray, Logan Riester, Caitlyn (Dawson) Riester Welborn, Caleb (Hannah) Carrico, Haven Carrico, Isaac Yoder, Jacoby Yoder, Miles Yoder, Faithlyn Yoder, Dominic Roberts, Gunnar Roberts, Jaxton Roberts, Credence Roberts, Piper Moore, Larkin Moore, Lexi (Dalton) Johnson, Tatum Rieman, Josie Rieman, as well as four great-great grandchildren, Hunter Siegel, Hayden Siegel, Kendall Edwards Quast and Matthew Murray. She is also survived by son-in-law, Bill Roberts and several nieces and nephews. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Merle Phillips, her husband Russell T. Moore, her sister, Charlene Berry and two daughters, Marjorie (James E. Carrico, Sr.) Carrico and Peggy Lynn Roberts.
