Good Samaritan has developed a local health insurance program that will service employers of all sizes in Knox County and the surrounding areas beginning on January 1, 2023.
Good Samaritan Health Direct is a partnership between Good Samaritan and SIHO Insurance Services, headquartered in Columbus. The partnership provides the ability for employers to receive enhanced analytical reporting, customer service, as well as an ongoing partnership with a like-minded organization to exceed the expectations of customers.
As a key organization helping local employers within the area, Good Samaritan has also teamed up with the Knox County Chamber of Commerce to share this product with the local community.
Jamie Neal, President of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, said they are excited to partner with Good Samaritan in providing this opportunity to chamber members. Officials say the new program will allow for improved access to care through the Good Samaritan Wellness Matters Clinic; enhanced wellness and care management services; excellent customer service and health plan administration; and an optimized provider network of providers and facilities.
