Festival Latino Returns to Vincennes Riverwalk

On Saturday, August 27th, Wabash Valley Progressives will hold their annual Festival Latino at the Vincennes Riverwalk.

All are welcome to come out for an evening of live music, authentic Latino food, vendors, activities for kids, fireworks, and a traditional dance performance.

Children can take part in crafts, games, face painting, piñatas, and superball drops.

The festival is free and open to the public. It kicks off at 4:00 pm and will run until 11:00 pm.

Organizers say the festival has its roots in a desire to welcome and recognize both the seasonal farmworkers and the local Latino residents for their contributions to our community. In past years, a portion of the proceeds has been donated to not-for-profits serving Latinos.
