James “Jim” L. Wesner 71 of Bicknell, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at his residence surrounded by family. Jim was born in Sullivan, IN to the late James W. Wesner and Juanita Helderman Wesner on September 24, 1950. Jim was a member of; Mariah Creek Christian Church, Bicknell Elks Lodge, The American Legion, and D.A.V. He retired from Duke Energy as a maintenance mechanic, and served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Those left to mourn the loss of Jim are; his loving wife, Ruth Wesner; children, James Wesner (Lynn) of Vancouver, WA, Cassandra Davis of Bicknell, and Brittany Mackey (Luke) of Arizona; six grandchildren and a sister, Diana Cook of Noblesville, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at Mariah Creek Christian Church on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Mariah Creek Cemetery with Military Graveside Honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Mariah Creek Christian Church, 9366 E. Oaktown Rd.
