The Daviess County Museum has announced they will be closed for the next week or more starting today.
The Access to History renovation project is ongoing and will create a new exhibit and program area that adds over 2000 square feet of usable space.
Crews are now working on tearing up the lobby.
Museum officials say they will reopen the building to the public when the lobby is safe to walk through and the upper floors are accessible.
The Museum will be closed starting today, July 20th, and will remain closed until at least July 27th.
