On Eden’s Wings Foundation Donates to Good Samaritan

In June, On Eden’s Wings Foundation presented a donation to the Good Samaritan Obstetrics Department. The donation was made to help families encountering pregnancy issues, premature birth, or infant mortality.

In October of 2021, On Eden’s Wings received a $12,400 donation from the Knox County 100 Women Who Care, and the foundation organizers wanted to give some of that to Good Samaritan.

On Eden’s Wings Foundation President, Kim Hatton, said the foundation was created in 2014 after her granddaughter, Eden, was born stillborn at 39 weeks. After this devastating loss, Hatton said her family quickly noticed a need for support and assistance during this time.

The On Eden’s Wings donation to Good Samaritan will be used to purchase a camera, mold kits for hands and feet, memory books, jump drives, and magnetic keepsake boxes. The Foundation also provided ten emergency packets, each with a monetary donation of $100, that can be distributed as needed to patients in financial stress.

On Eden’s Wings has an application on their website to apply for emergency assistance. For more information, visit edenswings.org.

On Eden’s Wings helps support local families and organizations in Knox, Lawrence, and Daviess counties, as well as throughout the Midwest.
