David Douglas Worstell passed away from this life on Friday, July 15, 2022, at his residence in Vincennes, Indiana at the age of 65. He was born on September 15, 1956, in Fayette County Indiana.
Those left to cherish his memories include his mother Audrey Ann Worstell, three sons Huck Worstell wife Emily, Hank Worstell wife Jennifer, Luke Worstell wife Sara, one daughter Patti Street husband Jeff, thirteen grandchildren, Brennen Worstell, Lillie Worstell, Phoebe Worstell, Landyn Worstell, Audrey Worstell, Caleb Worstell, Grace Worstell, Gretchynn Worstell, Gabriella Worstell, Gwynneth Worstell, Sam Street, John Street, Heart Street, one brother Bruce Worstell wife Gob, one sister Candy McCarty husband Jim, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father James Worstell.
David Douglas Worstell graduated from South Knox High School and went on to Purdue to get a certificate for one of the summer programs for farming. He worked for the Knox County Highway Department for over 25 years. He retired and still farmed part time. He loves the outdoors very much. He loved to drive tractors and work on equipment when he needed to. He loved his family very much. He was a simple man and that is the way he lived his life. He will be missed by all.
Funeral services celebrating the life of David Douglas Worstell will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 524 Broadway Street Vincennes, Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Frank Harmon. Interment will follow in the Upper Indiana Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21. 2022 from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
