DNR Conducting Wild Turkey Brood Survey

dnr-9

You can be an extra set of eyes for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
The DNR is conducting a wild turkey brood survey through August 31st.
A summer brood survival is one of the primary factors influencing wild turkey population trends in various regions of the state and informs the DNR’s wild turkey management.
This year, the DNR wants to collect 3,000 reports across the state and get at least 25 reports per county.
You can send in your reports at on.IN.gov/turkeybrood.
