Rokita Discusses Abortion Legislation

As lawmakers prepare for a special session of the state legislature, Attorney General Todd Rokita is speaking about what he would prefer lawmakers to decide on the touchy subject of abortion.
Rokita told WISH-TV that he is a “no exceptions candidate”, meaning that he believes abortion should be banned entirely in Indiana.
That includes in cases of rape or incest.
Rokita says that those circumstances are “terrible” but that it “doesn’t make the baby any less innocent.
Abortion, along with inflation relief, will be the topics discussed in the special session coming up later this month.
