A Huntingburg man faces charges after leaving the scene of an accident on a skateboard.
The Jasper Police Department was dispatched to Saint Charles and 36th Street in Jasper on Saturday in reference to a single vehicle accident that included damage to a tree.
Police say the driver left the scene on a skateboard.
The Jasper Police Department located the driver near the intersection of Leawood Drive and Oakbrook Court.
The driver was identified as 22-year-old Jaden Lankford.
Upon further investigation, it was determined Lankford was in possession of paraphernalia and a controlled substance.
He was arrested and booked into the Dubois County Jail.
Lankford is charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Paraphernalia
