Governor’s Office Racks Up Nearly $520k in Legal Bills

The Indiana governor’s office racked up almost $520,000 in legal bills for its successful court fight against an attempt by state legislators to give themselves more power to intervene during public health emergencies.
The Indianapolis law firm Lewis Wagner and Attorney General Todd Rokita represented Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb in the lawsuit.
Rokita said, it “was a waste of Hoosier taxpayers’ hard-earned money.”
