An 11-year-old boy has died from injuries that came from a fireworks-related incident over the weekend.
Around 9:45 pm Sunday night, Indiana State Police were dispatched to a child who was seriously hurt from fireworks at 932 North Canal Street in Mount Vernon.
ISP says the boy, Camrynn Ray McMichael, had to be taken to an Evansville Hospital, but died on the way there.
State Police, the Mt. Vernon Police Department, and the coroner are all investigating what happened.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
