The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced a road closure for State Road 58 near Carlisle.
Beginning on or around Tuesday, July 5th, SR 58 will close for bridge repairs.
This closure will take place between US 41 and County Road 100 West.
During the closure crews will be applying a polymeric overlay on the SR 58 bridge.
Other maintenance will also be performed during the closure.
The closure is expected to last through the month of July, depending on weather conditions.
The official detour for motorists is US 41 to State Road 154 to State Road 63 to SR 58.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
