General Assembly Special Session Extended

indiana-3

Leaders with the Indiana House and Senate have announced that the special session of the General Assembly has been extended.
Instead of lawmakers showing up to work on July 6th, as originally stated in Governor Holcomb’s proclamation, they will now have a few more weeks to work on inflation relief and abortion legislation.
Lawmakers will now show up to work on July 25th.
The General Assembly has a 40-day time limit to get their work done, meaning they need everything done by August 14th.
