A man’s body was found Friday evening after he went missing at Lake Monroe.
Conservation officers say they were called to the lake Thursday afternoon where two people were seen struggling in the water.
According to the DNR, one of the people was rescued from the water by a passing boater.
The second man, 64-year-old Dwight Fry from Springville, was missing until Friday evening.
DNR was able to find his body about 30 feet underwater using sonar, boats, and divers.
Investigators revealed that before Fry went missing in the water, he was attempting to help his wife who began struggling.
