According to the Evansville Courier, Mount Vernon High School’s Leigh Ann Latshaw was recently named District 6 athletics director of the year for her leadership in District 6 and dedication to athletics is southwestern Indiana. Leigh is a Washington native and still holds some track records at Washington High School. She is the daughter of Hugh and Darlene Etienne. She has spent the last 22 years working and directing Girls Basketball Camps for Vincennes University and Head Coach Harry Meeks. Coach Latshaw is now entering her 23rd year as a member of the Mt. Vernon Community.
