The Hatchet Boys Tennis Team picked up a pair of shut out wins Saturday over South Spencer and Mt Vernon 5-0.  Three more matches left this week before the tourney begins.
North Daviess Tennis team got a solid win over Evansville Reitz on Saturday 4 to 1.  The Cougars face South Knox today at 5pm.
The Barr Reeve varsity tennis team were champions at the Vincennes Tournament defeating Vincennes, Tecumseh, and Pike Central.  The Vikings are now 16 and 1 on the season.
Congrats to the Washington Hatchet Volleyball team.  They were crowned tourney champs in the Pike Central Round Robin Tournament on Saturday.  The Hatchets face a tough Barr Reeve team in Montgomery Monday night.  You can hear live coverage on The General 95.9 / 101.3 and AM 1580.

The Indianapolis Colts rode a stellard defensive performance and evened their record at 1-1 with a 28-11 win over the Minnesota Vikings Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Colts defense stepped up after a disappointing Week 1 loss to Jacksonville, as Indy picked off Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins three times and allowed just 175 total yards.

The Minnesota Twins got three RBI from Max Kepler and won 4-0 over the Chicago Cubs Sunday night at Wrigley Field.   The Cubs still lead the NL Central by three and a half games over the Cardinals.
Yadier Molina hit a go-ahead, two-run home run in the seventh inning and the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-1 Sunday at PNC Park.  The Cardinals have won four in a row and maintained their one game lead over the Reds and Brewers for second place in the NL Central.
The Cincinnati Reds scored five runs in the fourth inning on just one hit and went on to defeat the Chicago White Sox 7-3 Sunday at Great American Ballpark.   Cincinnati took two out of three from the White Sox.  The Reds begin a crucial series with Milwaukee.
