According to the Washington Times Herald, an Elnora man was arrested in a southern Indiana police sting operation. 42 year old Ryan E. Cooksey was arrested by the Madison Police Department and is being charged with attempted sexual misconduct with a minor, child solicitation, and possession of Methamphetamine.
Police say Cooksey had been working at a moto-cross track near Elnora and said that they had never had dealings with him until he showed up in a downtown parking lot looking to hook up with a 14-year-old girl he tried to solicit on the internet. Cooksey was taken to the Jefferson County jail where police found meth resulting in the drug charge.
