The Gardens of Ketcham held a ribbon cutting yesterday for the new Doris Malone Rose House. Two special awards were also presented as part of the private ceremony. One award was to the Board of Directors and the other was awarded to staff member Jane Melton.
The Rose House is Ketcham Memorial Center’s new small house model and will serve as a residential home for 10 residents and a highly trained staff who will live and work together. The project was made possible with a generous gift from the family of Doris Malone, who was a member of the Ketcham Memorial Center family as a resident. Ray Malone, Doris’s husband, had the honor of cutting the ribbon.
