Surgeon General says take social distance serious

Surgeon General Jerome Adams is urging you to take social distancing measures seriously. The reason he is stressing this now more than ever — what’s happening in the state of New York. He says over half of the people infected with coronavirus in the United States are in New York — nearly 17-thousand people. He says this week things are “going to get bad” — meaning there will be more and more people infected. Speaking on The Today Show on NBC he urges you to stay home and not go out unless you have to. Adams used to be the Indiana State Health Commissioner.
