 Judy Diane Quarterman

 Judy Diane Quarterman, 73, of Vincennes, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at her residence.

She was born April 3, 1944 in Orville to Walter and Clarabell (Peach) Young.

A member of the First Church of God, she enjoyed playing bunko and “porching” with her friends and family.

Surviving are her husband, George Quarterman, whom she married August 24, 1961  after dating for only two weeks; her children, Kevin (Brenda) Quarterman of Lawton, Oklahoma, Brad (Beth) Quarterman of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Kevin “Bo” (Kelli) Quarterman II, Bryan (Shelby) Quarterman, Steven (fiancé, Ashley Skaggs), Kayla (Jason) Collins, Ian Quarterman, Petty Officer 3rd Class Casey (Petty Officer 3rd Class Kelsey) Quarterman, Jenna (John) Polito, and Joanna (fiancé, Brian Taylor) Peach; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Renee Quarterman, Allyssa Jolene Quarterman, Annabel Lee Quarterman, Allie Skaggs, Riley Quarterman, Summer Quarterman, Ashlyn Quarterman, Abel Matthew Quarterman, Zoë Kae Quarterman, Brayden Aaron Quarterman, Draven Polito, Damarcus Flenorl, D’marion Flenorl, Kyndall Quarterman, Colton Quarterman, and Brynnlee Quarterman; a sister, Phyllis Young Patton of Crawfordsville; a brother, Rex (Glenda) Young, several nieces and nephews as she dearly loved every one of them.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Walter and Clarabell (Peach) Young; a son, Tony Ray Quarterman; a brother, Larry Young; and two sisters, Rhonda Young Smith, and Karen Young Cox.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Phyllis Young Patton officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until the service. She will be entombed in Tower Mausoleum II. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice as the family wishes to thank hospice for the fantastic care they gave Judy.
