Emily B. Lee

Emily B. Lee age 87, of Shoals, passed away from complications from a fall she suffered on November 7, 2017. She was born December 7, 1930 in Shoals, to Frank and Hattie (Beard) Lindley. She married William J. (Bill) Lee on October 13, 1950 at the United Methodist Church in Bedford. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2012.

She was employed at NWSC Crane, RCA and the Loogootee Textile, was a member of Samson Hill Church and was a graduate of Shoals High School Class of 1948. She loved to read, do puzzles and play cards.

Survivors include, three daughters Diana Key of Bedford, Kay (Bruce) Terwiske of Ireland, Shelley (Ronald) Allbright of French Lick; three grandsons, Brent Terry, Bryant Trambaugh and Barrett Allbright; seven great-grandchildren, Cassie and Nicole Terry, Kayla, Carson and Coen Trambaugh, David and Daniel Allbright.
She was the last surviving member of her family and was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Warren, John, Taylor, Coleman and Jacob Lindley; and sisters, Ethel Fitch, Geneva Merrit, Virginia Duncan, Clone Qualkenbush, Barbara Marsh; and one son in law, Roy E. Key

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00pm at the Queen-Lee Chapel with Rev. Larry Stoll officiating. Burial will be in the Wagonner Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00-8:00pm and on Saturday from 10:00am until time of service. Pallbearers are Brent Terry, Bryant Trambaugh, Barrett Allbright, David Allbright, Daniel Allbright, Pat Troutman and Jim Marsh.
