From the Police Logs…

-Authorities responded to an accident at Northwest 3rd and West Walnut yesterday.  It was reported at 6:15-am. A vehicle had hit a utility pole. There were no injuries.
-There was a car deer crash on 257 at 400 South at 5:20-am yesterday.
-A motorist on I69 at mile marker 62 reported another car hit a bumper laying in the road which was flung onto his car.  That was reported at 9:43-am yesterday.
-Washington Police investigated a stolen vehicle report made from a Vincennes Avenue residence Wednesday.
-A resident on Meridian Street reported someone opened a window and stole a video game system.
 -The Washington Police Department charged 30-year-old Alan Smith of Washington with Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Law Enforcement.  The arrest was made yesterday.
-30-year-old Cory Sox of Springville was picked up on a Failure to Appear Warrant yesterday.  Bond at the security center was set at $2000.
-Coy Bateman, 42 of MceLeansboro, Illinois was jailed in Washington yesterday on a warrant for Forgery, Theft and Failure to Appear.  Bond was set at $9500.
 -Vincennes Police arrested a man for Possession of Meth and Possession of Stolen Property on Wednesday. Robert Cullivan, 39, was booked into the Knox County Jail at 2:52 pm.
-Bicknell Police took 32-year-old Steven Goodwin to jail yesterday for Criminal Trespassing.  He was incarcerated at 4:15pm.
-A man was booked into the Knox County Jail on Wednesday for Counterfeiting.  Vincennes Police did not release details.  18-year-old William Jefferey was booked in at just before 4-am yesterday morning.  He’s also charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Operating Without Ever Having a License.
